Methanol Plant to be set up by CIMFR Jharkhand, MoU signed with Dastur

CIMFR Jharkhand will set up a methanol plant which will help to reduce the dependency on imported crude. CIMFR has signed an MoU with Dastur who will provide the basic engineering and design along with its energy affiliate Dastur Energy.
The MoU was signed on Tuesday, 29th June 2021. This will speed up the country’s goals to achieve coal to Methanol. CIMFR Digwadih campus has already inaugurated their syngas plant on 17th November 2020. The new MoU will allow CIMFR to construct a methanol plant.
